Picture This

February 28, 2006

Ok, because I’m cheap, I decided to take Tom’s “formal” 6 month shot myself. Here are the finalists, but I need you to help me decide which one to print to send to the grandparents.

Photo A: A serious Tom

Photo B: What’s that, over there?

Photo C: Rubber Ducky, you’re the one …

Photo D: I’ve got my Ducks in a row

Please leave your vote in comments if you have an opinion. Thanks for your help!

Totally D. They’re a buddy movie waiting to happen.

    I like D too. He’s a cutie!

Well, D is the cutest. He and his ducky pal are super adorable. Although I do know that grandparents tend to like close up shots better (maybe because they look more formal? maybe it’s just my grandparents?). So, C would be good too–although B is sweet. Heck, they’re all sweet!

And it’s not cheap to print your own photos 🙂 I even did it for Sydney’s year birthday picture because I knew what I wanted, and knew the studio would have a hard time getting it exactly like I wanted it.

I like the first and last. He is an adorable little man!

    I vote C, with A as a runner up.

I’d say C, with D as a close second. Have you noticed how much Tom’s eyes in B look just like super-hubby? But C makes me warm and fuzzy.

I vote for C. I think it’s the best for a keepsake. The others are adorable and definitely worth framing, I just think C for the “formal” one.

Oh those are CUTE!!! I love the expression in the last one!!!

    Thanks for stopping!

D is my favorite. What a cutie!

Oh, I love to play photography studio! You did a great job on all, but he is clearly loving the camera in D.

Wow, great job! They’re all really cute. I vote for D, it’s especially cute with the two ducks together. And you captured his smile!
    Love, Jen B.

I like C best. Steve votes for D (such a cute smile there!) and suggests you could crop out the stuffed duck for a more formal look. It’s hard to choose, though, because your child is so freaking adorable! 🙂

I totally loved them all, but D quacks me up (Oh, sorry. That was really bdd.) You are not cheap. You are brilliant! And I’ll bet he was much more happy and relaxed at home with Mom than he ever would have been with a photographer.

That little boy is super photogenic. What a cutie-pie!

    OH! He is SO cute!

I like D best. What a winning smile!

I really like Photo A but upon closer inspection, it looks like he’s tackled the poor duck to the ground and pinned with a strangle hold. So I vote for Photo D.

    CUTE!

You asked about Site Meter–if you can’t figure it out, send me an e-mail at rocksinmydryerATcox.net

I LOVE D. Esp if you could crop it and get a little closer up. But heck, I couldn’t. I think you did great just to get him to smile!

I’ve gotta go with D. Possibly the cutest picture I’ve ever seen.

  19. March 3, 2006 4:26 pm

I’m voting for the last one, but HECK, send em all. What a cutie!

My boy, Carter, have that same ducky robe! It’s really soft! What a cute kid-o!
